I know I have blogged this walk
before but it's one of our favourites - a stroll to the end of our road, across the fields where the mares have foaled (although they were all tucked away out of view today), into the woods along the well used green lanes down to Nonny's house...

me and my shadow... |

walking the green lanes |

foxgloves |
|
favourite rock... |
Everything was just so green - a beautiful contrast with the rich red coloured mud and punctuated by the occasional spire of purple foxgloves...
|
don't you want to know where it goes? |
|
there is a tree or three under that ivy... |

Look Mummy, bugs!!! |

We were visiting Nonny (the OH's mum) who, two weeks ago took the Little Man out for a few hours so I could do some work and had a fall, breaking her arm. Little Man was an absolute star that day, fetching help (in the shape of his Aunty Alys who was in her shop in town) and sitting with Nonny while the paramedics made their way to her aid. He remained calm all the while and came home later with his Aunty and just cuddled up on the sofa with me for the rest of the afternoon.
Today whilst we were walking he held my had very tightly when we came to the slippery, muddy bits and told me not to worry and that he wouldn't let me fall . . .
Beautiful walk. And well done, Little Man, for keeping calm!
