One Stop Pamper Shop - scented candles

Maryann at One Stop Pamper Shop was one of the first 'crafters' I met online back in 2010 when I first dipped my toes tentatively into the world of online craft sales and one of my first Twitter friends.

Before long she tempted me to try her lovely scented candles and bath products - to be fair I don't need much arm twisting when it comes to little treats like this. My ultimate indulgence is an hour locked away in the bathroom, bath filled with scented bubbles, candles flickering (even when it's not actually dark outside) and a good book/magazine to read. It's the only real 'me time' I get - enveloped in beautiful smells, warm water and gentle light...

It's a bit of a standing joke between us that I have a particular favourite fragrance - Fountain of Youth - that I tend to buy every time I visit the One Stop Pamper Shop. It's light, fresh slightly fruity, slightly floral - everything I want in a fragrance and I love it. But when Maryann offered me a couple of her new fragranced candles-in-tins to try I was more than happy to oblige!

She sent me two lovely candles to try - Mint and MangoTea and Summer Sunrise

Both candles are fresh, summery scents - Summer Sunrise is a fruity peach-melba type fragrance with a hint of something floral (honeysuckle maybe?). It easily takles the slightly stale tobacco smell that lingers in the conservatory when the Other Half hovers in the doorway for a smoke, rather than stand outside and get wet!   Mint and Mango Tea is exactly what it says on the. . .ahem . . . tin! A blend of peppermint and spearmint leaves combined with mango and papaya with a base note of white tea, it has sat on my kitchen windowsill for the past week effortlessly making my kitchen smell lovely.

One Stop Pamper Shop candles are all hand poured using the highest quality wax and fragrance oils for a long burning time and even fragrance. The candles in tins are available in 55 fragrances so there is bound to be one to appeal to everybody!  You don't even need to light them - place them on a warm window sill for a subtle scent all day long.
