If every cloud looked as cute as this one I'm sure we wouldn't be quite so sad to see them scurrying across the sky. I always imagine the world looks brighter after a spring shower but imagine a downpour of colourful raindrops making rainbow puddles and painting the world in bright hues!

Rainbow Raindrops and Smiley Clouds!

Folksy Friday :: Raindrops keep falling on my head
Seems like we have had every type of weather this week - frost, snow, wind, even a bit of sun yesterday that gave me a much needed reminder that spring is just around the corner... Back to rain again today so my little Folksy Friday selection seems all the more appropriate.
Just remember folks - Ignore the rain, look for the rainbow

It's the Little Things #3 Sunshine on a Rainy Day
After yet another dull, grey rainy day the sun finally makes a brief appearance . . .
Five minutes later it was grey again.
But, you know, sometimes five minutes is all you need. . .

April Showers...
What's the definition of stubborn?
Continuing to hang the washing out even though it has just started to rain. Again.
The rain has been getting me down these past couple of weeks. After the wash out Easter weekend I half hoped that the weather, being the perverse creature it is, would perk up a bit once the kids went back to school. I really wanted to get into the garden and tidy up a bit, plant a few things, get ready for *whispers* Summer...

Easter Market Cake Stall
If you follow me on Twitter you'll know that I have been a busy bunny this week making lots of lovely scrummy things for a cake stall at The Shambles Easter Market in Newent. Indeed, at 10pm last night I was still decorating gingerbread men and printing off little price cards...
The weather was not promising - last time I checked the forecast it looked like a hat, scarf and fingerless mitten kinda day. When we woke up this morning it looked more like it was gonna be a wellies and umbrella kinda day.
Actually, if I'm really honest, it looked like a 'forget about the market and spend the day under the duvet' kinda day...
But all those muffins, gingerbread men, bags of fudge and coconut ice were all packed up and ready to go. So go we did...
